Oracle Database Appliance: Engineered for Simplicity
Oracle has recently introduced a new Oracle Database Product. After some naming changes, from Comet, to Oracle Unbreakable Database Appliance,we finally landed on Oracle Database Appliance (ODA).
Oracle announced the Oracle Database Appliance, as an engineered system of software, servers, storage and networking that offers high availability for a wide range of custom and packaged OLTP and data warehousing application databases.
Apple’s Tuesday 4th of October morning media event that unveiled the iPhone 4S, along with updated iPod touch and iPod nano, was invitation only, but now is available online as a video stream so everyone can watch the announcements. Despite the long awaited launch of the new iPhone, reactions from some of the experts were mixed, as instead of the iPhone 5, Tim Cook, taking charge of his first major launch event since succeeding Steve Jobs as Apple CEO, unveiled the iPhone 4S – a handset similar in design to the current iPhone 4 but with improvements.
While everybody has recently heard of the news that Microsoft bought Skype in a $8.5 billion deal, and Voice over IP telephony has gained once more some publicity, nobody knows of the several options for communication over the internet. While Skype can easily be considered as the most popular or even the most famous, there also other services that can be considered. Perhaps, there’s probably no one service that provides a feature-for-feature replacement for Skype, there are plenty that offer great VoIP and video calling services, some of which are even better than Skype’s. MTV Music Video Awards 2011
The year has come around full circle once again as MTV presents one of the hottest award shows in music award history. Just a couple weeks after the latest maintenance release 4.1.2 of Oracle Virtualbox on the middle of August, fixing lots of stuff in the popular desktop virtualization platform, Oracle today release the long awaited new version of Oracle VM, version 3.0.
