Το τελευταίο καιρό η Oracle παρουσιάζεται ιδιαίτερα κινητική στο μέτωπο της διαχείρισης εφαρμογών σε όλο το κύκλο ζωής τους. Βασισμένη στην πλατφόρμα του Enterprise Manager, η Oracle πλέον καλύπτει όλα τα στάδια δημιουργίας και διατήρησης των εφαρμογών κάνοντας την συνολική τους διαχείριση πιο εύκολη από ποτέ.
Η δοκιμή εφαρμογών ήταν ένας τομέας κάπως παραμελημένος από την Oracle. Αλλά μετά την εξαγορά της Empirix το 2008, η Oracle είχε στην κατοχή της ένα πολύ καλό εργαλείο δοκιμών γνωστό μέχρι τότε ώς E-tester.
